Overview

Tourists visit Rajasthan throughout the year but the best time to visit Rajasthan is during winter months of November to February, when the temperature is not too high. During December and January, there can be a severe variation in temperatures during the day and the night.

Itinerary

On arrival at Airport / Railway station, meet our representative and proceed to Hotel for Check in. Delhi is a city built and re-built seven times over several centuries. The capital city today marries the quaint and unique elements of different historical eras with the pace of the bustliIT, growiIT economy. At every turn of the road, the past and the present coexist. Later proceed for city Tour of NEW DELHI - drive past the stately government buildiITs of the British Era designed by Lutyen’s, includiIT the Indian Gate & the Presidential Palace.  Conti nue onto the beautiful Humayun’s tomb of the Mughal era & thereafter visit the toweriIT minaret of Qutab Minar. Overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast visit the Jama Masjid, Red Fort and drive to Jaipur.

Jama Masjid- Jama Masjid, was commissioned to be constructed by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. It holds the distinction of beiIT one of the biggest and the most well known mosque of Old Delhi.

Red Fort- The Red Fort is popularly known as the Lal Quila and is representative of the true splendor of the Mughal court. This imposiIT

fort will eITulf you with its size and grandeur. Later continue drive to Jaipur. Arrive and check in at hotel.

Jaipur: Beautiful palaces, forts and colourful bazaars speak of the pink city’s glorious regal past. Modernity walks hand -in-hand with history in Jaipur. This largest city of Rajasthan, founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai SiITh, is famous for its magnanimous hospitality. Later tour of the Pink city visitiIT the imposiIT hawa Mahal, Jantar Manter & City Palace now a museum, the ancient Observatory, The exo tic Palace of the Winds & the picturesque bazaars of the walled city. Overnight at Hotel.

After  Breakfast,  Visit  Amber  -  the  ancient  capital  of  the  Rajput  Empire reachiIT  the  fort  on  elephant  back.    It  is a  deserted  palace surrounded by majestic ramparts & the magnificent public & private room's evidence the splendor of the rulers of 16th & 17th century Rajasthan. Jaigarh Fort- Situated on the majestic Chilh-ka-Tola or the hill of eagles, the lofty walls of the Jaigarh Fort spread over a vast expansion of three kilometers. This impregnable fort of the Rajput was built purely for the defense activities. Nahargarh fort- Nahargarh Fort is located on the sheer rugged ridge of Aravali Hills and it forms an impressive northern backdrop of Jaipur. It looks m ost classy when floodlit at night. The fort overlooks the city and presents a glitteriIT view of the city lights. It was built in 1734 and extended in 1868. Nahargarh meaniIT abode of the tigers was built by Jai SiITh to bolster the defence of Amber. EveniIT explore the local bazzar. Overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast drive to Agra En-route Fatehpur Sikri - the extraordinary city built by Akbar the Great, deserted 14 years later, but which, duriIT its brief span, exceeded London in both grandeur and populati on. After visit continue drive to Agra. Arrive and check in at Hotel. Akbarabad, as Agra was known duriIT the Mughal era, is home to some of the most magnificent Mughal architectures. Situated on the banks of river Yamuna, the monumental beauty of Agra has inspired countless people around the world. This third largest city of the state of Uttar Pradesh is home to three UNESCO world heritage sites. Overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast Proceed to visit to the world - famous Taj Mahal - or literally "Crown of Palaces" was built by Shah Jehan to immortalize the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal who died tragically in 1631. After that visit, the Red Fort built by three generations of Mughal Emperors between 1565 and 1573. It housed both the presidential Palaces of the Royal family, and the military quarters.

Itmad-ud-Daulah It is believed that the glorious Taj Mahal was also probably inspired from another monument in Agra called the Itmad - ud-Daulah. And so this Mughal mausoleum is also called the ‘Baby Taj’. This beautiful tomb definitely calls for a visit. The tomb, built between 1622 and 1628 has walls made of white marble from Rajasthan, encrusted with semi-precious stone decorations.

Sikandra The ‘Tomb of Akbar the Great’- Sikandra is unique in its beauty as the monument constructed in deep red stone stands out serenely against the lush green gardens. EveniIT board your Overnight train to Varanasi.

Day 6 :
Varanasi

Arrive at Varanasi station. Meet and transfer to hotel for check in. DatiIT back to more than 3000 years, Varanasi is said to be the oldest city of the world. There are temples   at   every   few   steps   here Hinduism it is believed that those who breathe their last i n this city attain nirvana and get an instant gateway to liberation from the cycle of births and re-births. After Lunch proceed for tour planned for second half of the day We begin the tour of the city with the famous Banaras Hindu University. Next we visit the famous 18th centur y Durga temple dedicated to Goddess Durga & later visit one of the most famous temples of Varanasi, the Tulsi Manas temple. We end our tour with a one- of-its-kind  temple  the  ‘Bharat  Mata’  (Mother  India).  The  temple  was  inaugurated  by  Mahatma  Gandhi  in  1936.  The  temple  has  the undivided India personified as a mother deity and has her statue built in marble. Unlike other temples, this one does not hav e images of the customary gods and goddesses; it houses a relief map of India, carved out of marble. EveniIT Aarti ceremony - Every eveniIT, hundreds of people gather at the banks of the river GaITes to participate in the aarti (hymn). The eveniIT aarti offers one of the most s pectacular sensory experiences, when hundreds of lamps light up the river side at dusk, the entire city of Varanasi comes to a standstill and the sound of chimes and doITs reverberates in each and every street. Early morniIT proceed to morniIT Cruise on GaITes. The ‘Ghats of GaITa’ dotted with temples or more than 100 ghats (banks) aloITside the GaITes in Varanasi. The best way to cover them all is acruise. A morniIT cruise on the GaITes presents a very beautiful view of the ghats bathed in crimson light. After the cruise we set out to explore the city. A walk through old Varanasi will be a memorable experience. After Breakfast at hotel check out and proceed for your onward destination.
